Circle Post
Not claimedYour family's little noticeboard
By Steven Labelle · ProductivityWhy we expect it: A clear family noticeboard combining groceries, notes, and private iCloud sharing makes it a promising, well-explained fit.
About
Your family's little noticeboard.
Circle Post brings groceries, notes, appointments, and an optional family map together in one cheerful app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
SHOPPING, TOGETHER Add groceries and everyday items, include quantities and categories, search the list, and check things off as you shop.
NOTES WITH PERSONALITY Leave colorful sticky notes on your family's corkboard. Add details, pin important notes, and see who posted them.
APPOINTMENTS AND REMINDERS Share a description, date, time, and optional location. Choose local appointment reminders, with 1 day before as the default. Circle Post does not add events to Apple Calendar. Reminders can appear while the app is closed once appointments have synced.
YOUR OPTIONAL FAMILY MAP See locations shared by invited circle members. Each person chooses whether to share on each device. Sharing runs only while Circle Post is open and active, and starts off after a new launch. There is no background tracking or route history. Updates depend on location availability and iCloud sync; this is not an emergency or real-time tracking service.
YOUR PRIVATE FAMILY CIRCLE Invite family through Apple's private iCloud sharing. Each person uses their own Apple Account. There is no public circle directory, and choosing the same circle name never connects two families. Manage invitations and access through Apple's sharing controls.
MAKE IT YOURS Choose a display name, emoji avatar, or profile photo. Enjoy a light blue theme, colorful menus, and compact layouts.
READY WHEN YOU ARE Your device keeps a saved copy for offline use. Updates sync through iCloud when available. Enable notifications in profile settings for new posts from other members and appointment reminders. New-post alerts appear after syncing and are not guaranteed immediate; Apple's background delivery and device notification settings affect delivery. An offline device cannot learn changed or canceled appointments until it syncs.
Free to use, with no advertising, analytics, subscriptions, or separate Circle Post account.
iCloud sharing requires an Apple Account signed in to iCloud and an accepted invitation for each member. Location and notifications are optional. Appointment times display in the device's current time zone.
