Clackle is a free-to-play word game where everyone builds their own crossword at once. There are no turns to wait for. Connect your letters, rearrange your board, and race to use every tile.
THE CHESS OF TILE GAMES Speed. Skill. Precision. Head-to-head battles. Bring your competitive streak to a word game with ranked play, practice opponents, and fresh challenges. Everyone plays at once, so every second counts. Other tile games might require mastery and memorization. Clackle requires intuition and innovation.
NO TURNS. NO FIXED BOARD. Your grid is yours to build. Speed, vocabulary, and quick decisions make the difference. Tap a letter, place it, and hit Check. Every word must be valid, and your whole crossword must connect. Build a clever crossing or rebuild everything when inspiration strikes.
SPEED RUN Race against your own best time. Choose a quick Bullet run or a full bag, then add word-length rules for a different challenge. Longer words can shave seconds off your finish; each Clunk adds a 10-second penalty.
LIVE BATTLE Compete with up to seven other players. Empty your tray to send everyone a new tile with a Clack. Keep a clean streak going for a Clatter and send three. Find a public table or invite friends with a lobby code.
BATTLE THE FLOCK Practice against one to seven bots across 20 difficulty levels. Pick your pace, bag size, and word-length rules.
CHALLENGE TRAIL: JOURNEY & SPRINT Follow an illustrated trail through workshops of connected-word puzzles. Find crossings, fill gaps, and rearrange the board to solve each waypoint. Or take on Sprint: three minutes to solve as many increasingly tricky puzzles as you can.
MAKE IT YOURS Choose Porcelain Club, Afterglow Arcade, or Daydream Park. Each brings its own illustrated setting, colors, music, and atmosphere. Adjust music, sound effects, and visual motion to suit you.
SMASH THE WEEKLY LEADERBOARDS Smash the weekly Speed Run leaderboards or build your ongoing Live Battle rank. Different goals. The same competitive rush.
Create a profile to save progress across devices, add friends, and join the leaderboards. Speed Run boards refresh weekly, with the top three preserved in the archives. Sprint has its own weekly leaderboard. Build your ongoing Live Battle rating, tracked separately for each rule category. Solo guest progress stays on your device and does not appear on leaderboards.
FREE TO PLAY. PLUS IS OPTIONAL. Clackle is free to download and play. Clackle Plus is an optional permanent upgrade, not a subscription. During the shared Launch Pass period, everyone can enjoy full access without buying anything.
