About
Most running clubs organise themselves in a WhatsApp group. The schedule is in someone's head, the route is a photo of a map, and nobody knows who is turning up until they turn up.
ClubRoutes is for that club.
WHAT MEMBERS GET
Open the app and see what is on this week. Tap going, maybe or not going. See who else is coming before you leave the house.
Every session carries the detail that usually gets asked in the group chat: where to meet, what time, how far, which pace groups, who is leading it, and the weather forecast for that spot at that hour.
Routes come with a map, the elevation profile and the distance, so you know what you are signing up for. Leaders can upload a GPX file or import a route straight from Strava.
If the group splits up on the run, you can share your live position with everyone else on that session until you stop or the session ends. You switch it on yourself, every time.
WHAT CLUB ORGANISERS GET
Set up Tuesday intervals once and it repeats every week. Change the meeting point and everyone who has RSVP'd gets told.
Take a register on the day. See who has drifted away and who has been out every week for a month.
Post announcements to the whole club, or to just the leaders, or to one pace group, and see who has actually read them.
Set a cap on a session and the waitlist sorts itself out, including when somebody drops out at nine o'clock the night before.
