About

Copy That turns your iPhone and Apple Watch into a wireless microphone for your Mac.

Press the big button, talk, and let go. A few seconds later your words are pasted wherever your cursor is on your Mac: a chat with Claude Code or Cursor, an email, a document, a terminal.

ONE BUTTON • Tap to start and stop, or hold to talk and release to send • Pause, resume or throw a recording away • Works from your Apple Watch too, with watch-face complications

TRANSCRIBED ON YOUR MAC • The free Copy That for Mac app (copythat.app) turns speech into text on your Mac with an open-source Whisper model, in almost any language • Text is pasted automatically, or copied if you prefer • Several Macs? Pick which one gets your words

WORKS WITHOUT YOUR MAC • Mac asleep or away? Recordings are saved and reach it when it's back • Name recordings, transcribe them right on your iPhone, and share the text or the audio • Search your history, play recordings back, copy anything again

PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Recordings travel through your own private iCloud, never through our servers • No account, no ads, no subscription

Apple Watch app: one-time in-app purchase. Requires a Mac with macOS 15 or later for automatic transcription and pasting. Your iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac must use the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on.
