CoReader: Read Aloud & Study

CoReader is your study buddy that reads aloud. Open a PDF or EPUB from Files and CoReader reads it to you, highlighting the sentence and the word being spoken, so your eyes and ears stay on the same line.

READ ALOUD, WORD BY WORD • The sentence being read is tinted and the word is marked, on the page or in a clean, distraction-free text view • Tap any word to start reading from there • Change speed in a tap, and pick from your device's voices • Formulas in EPUBs are read out as math

LISTEN ANYWHERE • Keeps reading with the screen locked or while you use another app • A compact player at the bottom of the page; swipe up for every control • Play, pause and skip ahead from the Lock Screen and Control Centre

YOUR LIBRARY • Every book you open, with a cover and how much you've read • Continue where you left off with one tap: Resume opens the book reading • Open books straight from Files or iCloud Drive; they're read where they are, never copied • Your reading place follows you between iPhone, iPad and Mac with iCloud

MADE FOR READING • Six themes, from Sepia to Night, and adjustable text size; match your system's light and dark appearance if you like

ALSO ON MAC • One purchase includes CoReader for Mac, with highlights, a notebook for every book, a natural-sounding neural voice and text recognition for scanned pages

PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no ads, no tracking. Your books stay on your device.
