Crack Monitor: House & CatNat

Crack monitor for a house cracked by drought: measure each wall crack, keep dated readings with photos and see where your French municipality stands on natural disaster decrees.

MEASURE A CRACK Read a crack gauge, or measure on a photo with a printable reference card: tap the card's corners, then the crack edges, and the app works out the width in millimetres. You can always correct the value.

MONTH BY MONTH One chart per crack, common width reference points and a neutral trend: stable, widening or varying with the seasons. Monthly reading reminder, every two weeks in summer.

IS YOUR MUNICIPALITY RECOGNISED? Public history of drought decrees for the municipality, decree entry as soon as it appears in the Journal officiel, a 30-day countdown to notify your insurer and a check of each crack's discovery date.

PDF REPORTS Four templates: report to the town hall, insurance claim, file for the expert or lawyer, clay prevention fund. Claim tracking with the insurer's statutory deadlines. The app sends nothing without you.

NO ACCOUNT No account, no ads. Your photos and crack readings stay on your phone; full backup to a file.

Free: 2 cracks, readings, charts, municipality status and countdown. One-time purchase, no subscription: unlimited cracks, photo measurement, wall plan, 4 PDF reports, claim tracking, maintenance records, backup and CSV export.

Indicative tracking only: only an expert can assess a crack. The app promises no compensation and is not legal advice. Deadlines come from the French Insurance Code; sources are listed in the app.
