Custos Coffee is a small-batch roaster in Surrey. We source exceptional Ethiopian lots and roast them for ritual, precision and pleasure.
SCAN THE BAG Every bag carries a code. Scan it and the app opens that exact coffee: the region it grew in, the washing station it passed through, how it was processed, and what to expect in the cup.
BREW IT PROPERLY Each coffee comes with recipes written for it — espresso, V60, French press, Moka pot. Brew Mode walks you through the pour, step by step, with the timings already set. Save your own grind and dose and the app remembers them per coffee and per method.
YOUR COFFEE PASSPORT Every coffee you buy or scan is recorded. Over time it becomes a shelf of what you have tasted, with your own notes against each one.
THE RESERVE BOX Members get their coffee before it is listed, with early access to limited editions and invitations to tastings. Reserve Boxes are set up on the Custos website.
ORDER AND REORDER Buy the coffee you are drinking now in a few taps, follow the order from roasting to dispatch, and reorder from the home screen.
Custos buys from smallholdings in the Ethiopian highlands rather than estates, and describes coffee by region and washing station.
