Densha - Focus Timer
Not claimedEvery focus session is a train ride across Japan
By Robert Maeda · ProductivityWhy we expect it: A clever focus concept with real Japan rail data, clear rewards, strong privacy stance and thorough description make this a strong debut.
About
Every focus session is a train ride across Japan.
Pick how long you'll focus, choose a destination, leave your distracting apps at the ticket gate, and ride while you work. The train runs along real lines on the map, past real stations, with station announcements and chimes in Japanese and English. Arrive and you earn coins, Rail Miles and a station stamp. Get off early and you earn nothing.
RIDE ANYWHERE IN JAPAN • Over 4,000 stations on the JR and Shinkansen network, with real track and transfers • Ride for 30, 60 or 90 minutes or any length you like; the departure board suggests destinations that far away • A departure board that flips between English and Japanese, like the real thing • Kanji with romaji on every station sign, in official line colors • Light and dark mode
STAY FOCUSED • The ticket gate holds the apps you choose until you arrive, using Apple's Screen Time • Need a pause? Buy a snack at the konbini for a 3 to 15 minute break; your apps open while the train waits • A Live Activity shows your ride on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island
COLLECT AS YOU TRAVEL • A stamp for every new station you arrive at • Regional ekiben and omiyage that unlock as you reach new places • IC cards that unlock as your rank rises from Local to Gran Class • Drinks that boost your Rail Miles, and omamori charms that protect your streak
SEE YOUR PROGRESS • Focus time by day and by tag • Streaks and every ride you've taken • Home Screen widgets for today's focus and your last ride
