About

Pick any track and see what you've already mixed out of it, best first, and how you did each one. Then build your next set from combos you know work.

Mixnote opens on "What's next": search for a track or pick a recent one, and every track you've mixed out of it lines up by how it went. Great first, then Works, then the ones you haven't judged yet, then Retry. Each row shows the technique, the blend length in bars and the mix-out point, so you don't have to open anything. Anything you marked Avoid sits apart under "Don't go here".

Follow a next track to see what comes after it, two or more steps ahead. When a path holds up, save it as a combo: two to five tracks proven to work in order. Combos are building blocks, not a fixed set, so you're never locked into one order.

Got a gig coming up? Put combos in order on a gig sheet and export the tracklist as plain text or CSV, then rebuild it as a playlist in your DJ software. It's the order of your combos, not a full set planner: no timings, energy curves or auto-ordering.

AFTER PRACTICE

Save the whole session in one go. Add the tracks in the order you played them, tap the blends worth keeping and mark how each one went: Great, Works, Retry or Avoid. Every blend you tap becomes a saved transition.

Or save a single transition in two taps, this track into that one, and add detail when you have a minute: mix-out and mix-in points, blend length in bars, technique (EQ blend, bass swap, filter, echo out, loop and more), energy direction, cue references, notes and a rating.

Save the ones that didn't work too. "Two steps on the wheel, goes muddy in the breakdown" is worth more than a blank.

Want to look around first? Skip the setup and you start in an example library: one track with four next tracks that each went a different way, and an example combo. When Apple Music doesn't have a track, what you typed is one tap from being added by hand.
