Doom Cali Calisthenics Journey
Not claimedDoom Cali is a workout log built for calisthenics
By Noel Do Van · Health and fitnessWhy we expect it: A clear calisthenics focus, a progression tree with dual logging modes, and thoughtful detail make it a promising workout log for serious athletes.
About
Doom Cali is a workout log built for calisthenics.
TWO KINDS OF EXERCISES, TWO WAYS TO LOG Dynamic movements (pull-ups, dips, push-ups, muscle-ups…) are counted in reps, with added weight or band assistance. Isometric positions (front lever, planche, handstand, L-sit…) are timed, accurately even when the app goes to the background, with the target hold shown behind the timer.
A PROGRESSION TREE, NOT A LIST 95 skills across 11 families, each with its prerequisites and a validation standard. Reaching the standard validates the skill and unlocks the next ones. Every family reads as a tree, and the Overview shows the whole path at a glance. Warm-up, stretching and mobility are logged apart, outside the progression.
YOUR ATHLETE LEVEL A level from 1 to 10, five tiers (from Foundations to Elite), a six-axis radar (balance, pull, transition & flag, legs, core, push) and advice on what to work on next.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO TRAIN • Open workout, routine or EMOM: one round every N seconds, every round becomes a set, beeps and a vibration at each new round • Personal records detected at the end of every workout • Rest timer, screen kept awake during the workout • Reusable, reorderable routines, also created from a successful workout • Routine assistant: one routine per training day towards your target skills (Plus) • Load lifted per workout: the share of your bodyweight each movement carries, plus added weight • History by month, weekly streak, 12-week chart • Notes and up to 5 media items per workout (photos, plus one 30-second video with Plus) • Custom exercises with prerequisites (Plus)
YOUR AI BECOMES YOUR COACH (PLUS) Doom Cali prepares a report of your progress (goals, level, records, latest workouts, routines, your notes) that you copy to the AI of your choice. Its answer comes back into the app: the routines it suggests import in one tap, EMOM blocks and new exercises included. In the Library, a second coach creates the exercises you miss from a description. No API key: nothing leaves your phone without your action.
A COMMUNITY OF ATHLETES Publish a workout in one tap (summary, exercises, notes and media), cheer others on with a like or a comment, and follow the athletes who inspire you. Two feeds, Explore and Following, plus “Around me” for athletes sharing an approximate zone near you. Every athlete has a public profile (workouts, followers, records, validated skills), with figures you can hide. Report content or block an athlete at any time.
YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Your workouts are stored on your phone, even offline, and backed up to your account: you find them again on a new device. Nothing is published without your action; export your data to a file and delete your account from Settings.
DISCOVERY AND PLUS Discovery, no subscription: levels 1 to 6, 3 routines, the whole community with photos. Plus (monthly, 3-month or 12-month subscription, or lifetime purchase): all 95 skills, unlimited routines, routine assistant, AI coach, AI assistant connected from a computer (MCP), custom exercises, video in community posts, copying other athletes’ routines, the Plus badge.
Interface in French and English. No ads, no tracking.
Doom Cali is a tracking tool: it does not replace a coach or medical advice. Train within your abilities.
