Ear Training helps you name what you hear. Listen, pick the name, and see right away if you got it. Missed it? You hear the right answer again from the same note, and you can tap the other buttons to compare. Short lessons, a real piano sound, and no account.
FIVE AREAS • Intervals: 12 intervals, ascending, descending and together. • Chords: 11 chord types, from major and minor to seventh and sus chords, with inversions. • Scales: 12 scales and modes, including pentatonic, blues and whole tone. • Progressions: four-chord progressions in a major key. Pick chords 2 to 4. • Note names: one note at a time, on a one-octave keyboard.
LESSONS THAT BUILD UP • 52 lessons that add a few new sounds at a time, with checkpoints that mix everything over a wider range. • Earn up to 3 stars. 2 stars opens the next lesson. Know the basics already? Take a checkpoint to skip ahead. • Before you start, tap each sound to hear it.
LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES • Every wrong answer goes on a review list. Get it right twice in a row and it comes off. • Review a whole area in one round from the home screen.
PRACTISE YOUR WAY • Custom practice: choose the area, the exact sounds, direction, range, and 10, 20 or 30 questions. • Note names the way you learned them: letters (C D E), fixed do (Do Re Mi) or German (H), in your language.
SEE YOUR PROGRESS • Your daily streak and this week's practice days on the home screen. • Accuracy for every interval, chord and scale, from strongest to weakest, plus the pairs you mix up most. • An optional daily reminder at the time you choose.
YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU Everything is saved on your phone. Export a backup file and import it on a new phone.
