Ember is a quiet, good-looking player for the music you already own. Put MP3, AAC or ALAC files into the Files app and Ember reads their tags and organizes everything into albums, artists and songs — no streaming service, no account, no network.
Organize • Albums and artists sorted automatically; compilations stay together by album artist • Reads ID3 and iTunes tags: title, album, year, track number, artwork • Search songs, albums and artists • Playlists with drag-to-reorder
Play • Background playback: screen off, other apps open — it keeps going • Lock Screen and Control Center: artwork, scrubbing, next and previous • Gapless playback between album tracks • 10-band equalizer with 9 presets and automatic clipping protection • Repeat, shuffle, AirPlay
Design • Dark interface with the cover's colour flowing into the background • The playing list is the album or playlist you chose — tap any track to jump to it
