About

Epoch is a time tracker built around one idea: the hierarchy is the product.

Most trackers give you a flat list of projects. Epoch lets you nest folders as deep as you like, put the timer only on the tasks at the end, and rolls the hours up through every level on its own. The number on a folder is always the sum of everything inside it, with no tags to maintain and nothing to reconcile.

START IN ONE TAP Tap a task and it is running. Keep an eye on it from the Lock Screen, the Dynamic Island, a Home Screen widget, Control Center or your Apple Watch, and stop it without opening the app. Ask Siri to start or stop a timer if your hands are full.

SEE WHERE THE HOURS WENT Day, week, month and year views show where your time actually goes. Compare this week with the last one, find your busiest day, and filter by tag to cut across folders. A weekly review sums it up.

PLAN THE DAY Put tasks on a timeline with a start time and get a reminder when it is time to begin. Add them to your calendar if you want them there too.

STAY ON TARGET Set a daily and a weekly goal and watch the ring fill. Keep a streak going. Give any task an hour budget and see how much is left. Focus mode runs timed rounds with breaks.

KNOW WHAT IT EARNED Set an hourly rate once, override it for a client or a single task, and Epoch prices every hour at the right rate. Free work stays free. Export a timesheet when it is time to invoice.

BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY No account, no sign-up, and it works offline. Undo any delete. Automatic backups keep your history safe. Epoch is designed to be opened for a few seconds at a time, then left alone.

Available in nine languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese and Simplified Chinese.
