About

Put one phone between two players like a desk. Take turns flicking your eraser: pull it back, let go, and it zooms the other way. Hit the wide side of the other eraser hard and it spins up and flips over. Flip it and you win the round.

Hit the short end and it only wobbles. Where and how you hit is the skill. Flick too hard and slide off the mat, and you sit out one turn. Win two rounds to win the match. A round is over quickly.

■ Nothing to read The pull line shows where your eraser will fly, and a finger demo shows how. A seven-year-old can play the first round without an adult.

■ Playing alone Open it alone and a ghost hand flicks the other eraser every so often. The moment someone touches the top half of the screen, the ghost disappears and that person becomes player two.

■ For parents · No ads · Nothing to buy inside the app · Sends and receives nothing over the internet. No account · No contact with strangers — no chat, no leaderboards · Not a single text field anywhere in the app · The app asks for no permissions. The sounds are made by the app itself
