About
Essay Tidy formats a Word document on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The file stays on the device and is never uploaded.
Choose a template, adjust fonts, spacing, and margins, then save a new .docx. Academic layout, APA 7 body text, and a full APA 7 student paper are included. The student paper adds a title page, a page number at the top right, double spacing, a half-inch first line, one-inch margins, and APA headings.
Essay Tidy can also format an Abstract section, heading levels, and the look of a reference list (font, spacing, and hanging indent). It does not convert citations from one style to another.
If the file contains Zotero, EndNote, or Mendeley field codes, Essay Tidy reports them and leaves those citations unchanged. It does not sign in to those apps or read a reference library.
