EV Rev: Engine Sounds & Gauges

Miss the grunt? EV Rev gives your electric car an engine note, a rev counter and a speedometer, all on your iPhone.

Pick a sound, press Start, and the engine follows your speed through your car speakers over Bluetooth or CarPlay audio. Every sound is generated live on your phone, so the pitch rises and falls with your speed, changes gear, and reacts when you put your foot down.

FIVE ENGINE SOUNDS • Electric GT: a smooth, futuristic motor whine (free) • Rally Anti-Lag: turbo whistle, flat-shift pops and anti-lag bangs (free) • Sports Car: a high-revving flat-six wail with a seven-speed gearbox • Muscle V8: lumpy, deep American V8 rumble • Warp Drive: a sci-fi power surge for pure fun

BUILT TO LOOK THE PART • Two big dials, speed and revs, side by side in full-screen landscape • Glowing gradient rev arc, redline band and a live gear indicator • A load meter that shows how hard you're pushing • Portrait mode with the dials stacked, perfect on a phone mount • Live Activity: see your sound and revs on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island

RESPONSIVE BY DESIGN EV Rev combines GPS with your iPhone's motion sensors, so the sound responds the instant you accelerate instead of waiting for the next GPS update.

TRY IT PARKED Demo mode lets you drag a speed slider and hear every sound without going anywhere.

FREE, WITH ONE UNLOCK Electric GT and Rally Anti-Lag are free forever. A single one-off purchase unlocks every sound, including new ones we add later. No subscription, no ads, no account.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your location is used only to work out your speed while the engine is running. It never leaves your phone.

SAFETY FIRST EV Rev is for fun, not for driving data. Always use your car's own speedometer, mount your phone securely, set everything up before you set off and obey speed limits. The sounds play inside your car only.
