Turn your reading into listening. Fabuly transforms books, articles and documents into audio, right on your iPhone or iPad. Listen while you walk, cook, commute or unwind. Free to use, with no ads, subscriptions or account to create. Download the voices once, then generate new audio and listen offline. Your device does the work, so your text never needs to be uploaded to a cloud speech service. No generation credits to buy. No monthly listening limits. Build a listening library from the things you want to read: - Import EPUB, PDF, DOCX and TXT files. - Add web articles or paste text. - Capture printed pages with your camera or import photos to extract their text. - Discover books with built-in Project Gutenberg search. Make every listening session your own: - Choose from 10 voices, with speech available in 31 languages. - Follow along as each sentence is highlighted. - Adjust playback speed and set a sleep timer. - Jump between chapters and pick up where you left off. - Keep listening with your screen locked, while using other apps or through CarPlay. - Replay saved audio without generating it again. Your imported reading and generated audio are stored on your device. Take your library on a flight, on a train or wherever your day leads. First use requires a voice download of approximately 400 MB, in addition to the app. Wi-Fi is recommended. After setup, you can generate and play audio from imported content offline. Downloading new books or web articles still requires an internet connection. Generated audio uses storage on your device.
