Not claimedNoughts and crosses, but on all six faces of a cube at once
By Thomas McLarney · GamesWhy we expect it: A clever cube twist on a classic game, with three modes, offline play and no ads makes it a delightfully friendly debut.
About
Noughts and crosses, but on all six faces of a cube at once.
Every face of the cube is its own game of noughts and crosses. Swipe to tumble the cube, pick your spot, and line up three to win a face. Win the most faces and you win the game. It's simple enough to learn in seconds, with plenty to think about once you're hooked.
THREE WAYS TO PLAY
• Roll it: swipe to roll the cube and play wherever it lands. Land on a finished face and your turn is gone. • Pick it: no luck involved. Turn the cube to any face you like and choose your moment. • Stack it: one big 3×3×3 cube. Turn it to find your move and make three in a row on a level, straight up a column, or diagonally right through the cube. The mighty centre stays locked for the first two rounds, so everyone gets a fair shot.
PLAY TOGETHER
• 2 to 6 players, each with their own shape and colour • Play against friendly bots, pass the device round, or mix both • Play online with friends on their own phones or tablets: one person hosts, everyone else types the four-letter room code • If someone drops out of an online game, a bot takes their seat so you can finish
MADE TO BE FRIENDLY
• Bright, chunky cartoon style with bouncy sounds • No adverts, no sign-up, no tracking • Works offline for solo and same-device games • Supports reduced motion, with a flat layer view for Stack it
