About

fitIQ is the companion app for people who train with a coach through fitIQ Teams. It takes what your Apple Watch already records and sends it to your organisation, so your coach can see your training beside everyone else's without you exporting anything or filling in a log.

What it shares, once you allow it:

- Steps, distance and flights climbed - Active and basal energy - Heart rate, resting heart rate and heart rate variability - Blood oxygen and respiratory rate - Sleep - Workouts, with their heart rate traces

Before any of that is requested, the app names every organisation that will receive it, lists exactly which measures are included, and tells you that connecting also sends up to two years of history, not just today onwards. You can disconnect whenever you like.

Only readings your Apple Watch wrote are used. Health collects from many sources, and fitIQ deliberately ignores the rest: your iPhone's own step count, a relayed WHOOP, a third-party sleep app. If you own more than one Watch you choose which ones to share.

You need a fitIQ account and an organisation. Your coach either invites you or shares a join link.

Once it is set up, fitIQ keeps syncing in the background through the day as your Apple Watch records, today included, so your coach stays up to date. If you swipe the app away, syncing pauses until you next open it.
