About
Flamenco Metronome (Metrónomo Flamenco, in Spanish) plays along with you using real recordings of every palo, not a synthetic click. You choose which instruments play and how fast, and a compás wheel turns with the audio, marking the strong and weak beats right where they really fall.
Every palo, with its compás Bulerías, soleá, soleá por bulerías, alegrías, seguiriyas, tangos, rumbas, tanguillos, sevillanas and fandangos, each with its own accents. And a palo can be counted more than one way: bulerías in 12 or in 6, tanguillos in 6/8 or in 3/4.
Your mix, your way Turn cajón, palmas, castanets, congas, frame drum, tinaja or knuckles on table on and off, as many as you like at once. Pick a pattern for each one from the recorded ones and turn its volume up or down until it sounds the way you want. Or play the whole accompaniment in one go.
Recorded fills Every few compases, one of the instruments rounds things off with a recorded fill while the others carry on, just like playing with other people. You choose how many compases between fills.
At your speed Speed the tempo up or slow it down while it plays, to whatever speed you need. With the speed trainer, the tempo goes up or down on its own every few compases until it reaches your target.
And also • Clock or line: see the compás as a clock or in a line, whichever suits the way you learn. • With the screen locked: it keeps playing in compás. • Reference click: a hit on every beat, on top of the recording, exactly where the wheel marks it. • Your color, your language: five palettes, light or dark, in Spanish, English, German, French, Japanese and Chinese. • No accounts, no tracking: no sign-up, no ads and no analytics. Your data never leaves your device.
For playing, singing and dancing flamenco It was born to practice guitar with the real compás underneath. It works just as well for dancing, for singing, for cajón or palmas, or for bringing your piano, violin, flute or sax into flamenco.
