In short

FlipOrDie: Phone Focus Timer is a productivity app that starts a focus session when you place your phone face down. Flipping it face up before the session ends triggers a countdown in which you must type or speak a pledge, and failures cost discipline points and reset your streak. Its standout feature is the points system, which locks focus mode until you upgrade to Pro once points reach zero.

About

Your phone isn't your friend. It's the thing standing between you and everything you meant to finish today.

FlipOrDie is a ruthless, self-roasting focus timer. No gentle nudges or motivational clichés—just put your phone face down and get to work.

HOW IT WORKS • Put your phone face down to begin a focus session. • Flip it face up before the session ends and a 20-second countdown begins. • Type—or in Read-Aloud Mode, speak—the displayed pledge before time runs out. • Fail the challenge or abandon the session, and you lose discipline points and reset your streak. • Complete the session to earn points and keep your streak alive.

BUILD YOUR DISCIPLINE Your discipline points and streak reflect what you actually do. Successful sessions move you forward; failed or abandoned sessions set you back. Points never reset on their own. If your points reach zero, focus mode locks until you upgrade to Pro.

CHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE • Type Mode — Type the displayed pledge before time runs out. • Mercy Mode — Get a more forgiving countdown. • Read-Aloud Mode — Say the pledge aloud and let FlipOrDie verify it. • Custom Pledges — Write your own motivational—or merciless—message.

FLIPORDIE PRO Upgrade to Pro for: • Unlimited focus sessions with no point-based lockouts • Mercy Mode • Read-Aloud Mode • Fully custom pledges

FlipOrDie Pro is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled and can be managed in your App Store account settings. Available in English, 繁體中文, 简体中文, 日本語, and 한국어.
