flyOS puts a real fruit fly in your room.

Not an animation, not a preset loop — a real connectome, computed live on your iPhone from actual fly brain data. Point your camera at your desk, your floor, your kitchen table, and a fruit fly stands there: walking, flying, reacting, all driven by a spiking neural network built from real connectome wiring.

HOW IT WORKS Open the DEBUG drawer at any moment to watch the fly's actual brain: a rotating atlas of its neurons, each one lighting up white the instant its population fires. Below it, live numbers — how many neurons exist, how many just fired, how far ahead of real time the simulation is running. This isn't a mockup of brain activity. It's the real thing, computed in real time, on your phone.

Circuits run continuously underneath: a circadian clock that tracks day and night, vision that watches for motion and looming threats, taste and feeding drives, wind sensing through antennal hearing, a compass for orientation, and the premotor circuits that turn all of it into wingbeats and footsteps.

SELFIE MODE Flip to the front camera and the fly settles into an orbit around you for a portrait — its brain paused, the camera watching your face instead of your room.

CAPTURE Tap the shutter to save a moment with your fly. Every capture stays on your phone; saving to Photos or sharing is the only way anything ever leaves your device.

PRIVACY, ACTUALLY flyOS has no account, no backend server, no analytics, and no ads. Camera frames are processed in memory and never stored. Nothing about your room, your face, or your fly ever leaves your phone unless you choose to save or share a photo.
