Ghost Paste

Keep it for now. Let it go later.

Ghost Paste is a temporary inbox for the everyday information you need now and don’t want to keep forever. Save the address for tonight, a useful web link, a shopping reminder, or a short text snippet. Give it an expiration, use it when you need it, and let your inbox clear itself.

CAPTURE QUICKLY Enter text, explicitly paste from your clipboard, or save compatible text and web links through the iOS share sheet. Add a short title if you like. The share extension can capture content even when the main app is closed.

CHOOSE HOW LONG IT STAYS Keep an item for 1, 3, or 6 hours; Tonight; Tomorrow; 24 hours; or a custom future time. New items default to 24 hours, and you can change that in Settings.

USE IT WITH A TAP Copy the original content, open a valid web link through the system, or open an address in Apple Maps. Tap a card to read the full content without crowding the inbox.

GIVE IT MORE TIME Plans change. Add another hour, another day, or choose a new expiration before an item expires. Delete an item when you’re finished, with a brief undo option for routine deletion.

TEMPORARY BY DESIGN Expired items are excluded from the active inbox and removed from the app’s stored collection during its next successful cleanup. Ghost Paste checks actual expiration timestamps when it runs or returns to the foreground, so it does not rely on a background process running at the exact expiration time.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Saved content stays in local storage on your device. Ghost Paste has no accounts, subscriptions, advertising, analytics, tracking, or AI features. Core capture, viewing, copying, and expiration work offline. Opening external links or Maps may require internet access.

Expiration removes an item from Ghost Paste; it does not securely erase device backups, the clipboard, or content copied elsewhere. Device backups may include app data.
