About
A highly opinionated Git client for macOS.
I built Git Client to be exactly what I want from a Git client: visual staging of files and reviewing diffs. Nothing more, nothing less. Everything else belongs in the command line.
— Tom Roberts
Open a repository or a folder containing several repositories. Review changed files in side-by-side diffs, then stage or unstage them visually. Changes refresh automatically as you work in your editor or terminal.
Compare branches, read commit diffs and work through text conflicts in the same native Mac workspace. Use the command line for committing, fetching, pulling, pushing and the rest of your Git workflow.
Includes Git and a line-based command shell. Folder access is limited to locations you select. Full-screen terminal programs, shell completion and job control are unavailable in the App Store edition; use your usual terminal for those workflows.
Requires macOS 14 or later. Free to download, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
