About
Glimpsing is a private photo check-in for families and close friends who live apart.
Everyone gets the same nudge at the same time. You post one Glimpse: a photo, a short video or a voice note. Until you've posted, everyone else's stays blurred. Post yours to see theirs.
HOW IT WORKS • Weekly check-ins on the free plan. Daily, or a schedule you choose, on Premium. • Every Glimpse taken in the app is stamped with the city, your local time and the weather, so nobody does time-zone math. • Group feeds clear after 24 hours. Your own Glimpses, and any you save, go into Memories, where only you can see them. • A Wrapped every month, and your whole year on January 1.
KEEP IT GOING • A streak for the group, and one for every pair of you. • A streak freeze covers a missed check-in. Miss without one and you get 48 hours to restore it.
FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY • Simple mode has bigger buttons and fewer screens, for grandparents and anyone new to phones. • Kid profiles that a parent sets up. • Home Screen widgets, a Lock Screen countdown and Apple Watch. • Time capsules that open on a date you pick, and event albums for trips and weddings. • 1:1s with one person, with their own streak.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No public feed, no followers and no ads. • Photos, videos and voice notes sit in private storage and open through links that expire. • The stamp shows your city, never your street. • Export everything or delete your account from Settings.
PREMIUM Premium adds daily and custom schedules, Strict Mode, more groups and 1:1s, two streak freezes a month and 5 GB of storage. It starts with a 7-day free trial. Strict Mode keeps the apps you pick locked until you've posted, using iOS Screen Time. Extra storage is available on any plan.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings.
