About
Glowball is the classic paddle-and-ball game, lit up. Two paddles, one glowing ball and a dark court. Yours is the paddle at the bottom. Slide a finger side to side and keep the ball from getting past you.
Where the ball lands on your paddle decides where it goes. Meet it in the middle and it goes straight back. Meet it near the end and it leaves at an angle. That is the whole game. It is enough.
TEN LEVELS, ONE LADDER
Level 1 is slow and forgiving. Level 10 is fast and misses almost nothing. Each level in between is a little quicker and a little steadier than the last.
Beat a level to open the next. The ball gets faster as you climb and the matches get longer: first to 3, then 5, then 7. Any level you have beaten can be played again.
TWO THINGS TO CATCH
A shield: for five seconds the line behind you bounces the ball back, even if you miss. A power shot: your next hit goes back twice as hard. They drift down the court toward whoever they belong to. Catch yours on your paddle.
EASY TO PICK UP
• One finger. Nothing to learn. • The first serve waits until you have touched your paddle. • An Extra wide paddle in Settings, if you want more to hit with. • Pause any time. Leaving the app pauses the match too. • Your place on the ladder is saved. • Text follows your iPhone's text size. Reduce Motion calms the effects.
NOTHING ELSE
No ads. No accounts. No in-app purchases. No tracking. Glowball collects no data and has no online features. It plays the same in airplane mode.
