In short

Glucary: Blood Sugar Monitor is a logbook for readings you type in from your own glucose meter, since the app does not connect to meters or sensors. It suits people who track blood sugar over weeks and months and want to share a report with their doctor. Logging, charts, and CSV export are free, and a one-time purchase unlocks the PDF report, which includes the mean, time-in-range counts, and formulas printed on the page.

About

A blood sugar monitor log that stays free: write down each reading from your own glucose meter, and get a report your doctor can read at a glance.

Glucary measures nothing itself. It is a logbook for the numbers your meter gives you, so you can monitor your blood sugar over weeks and months by writing it down. Type the number, tap Save. The tag is already set from the time of day, and you can add a note, insulin, medication or carbs when you want to, never because you have to. Logging is free without limits, and stays free: unlimited readings, unlimited history, every chart and every statistic, and a CSV export of everything you entered.

One-time purchase. No subscription. The only paid feature is the doctor-ready PDF report. For any date range it prints the mean of your readings, how many fell inside the target range you entered, a table by tag, a time-of-day chart and the full log, with the formulas printed on the page so anyone can check the arithmetic. You preview the complete report free; you pay once to export, print or share it.

THE LOGBOOK Fasting, pre-meal, post-meal and bedtime tags. A1C results with their date. Insulin as units, basal or bolus. A medication list with real schedules (daily, every few days, weekly, fortnightly, as needed) and a taken log. Optional reminders for readings and medicines. Your next appointment date, with a reminder two days before so the report is ready.

UNITS THAT BEHAVE mg/dL or mmol/L, and A1C as % or mmol/mol. Switch at any time; nothing is rewritten and nothing is rounded. Type a point or a comma. The CSV and the PDF use the unit you display and say so in the header.

APPLE HEALTH Optionally save each reading to Apple Health, and bring in blood glucose readings already stored there. Both are opt-in, both can be turned off, and Glucary works fully without Apple Health. Glucary does not connect to meters or sensors.

CHARTS AND STATISTICS A time-of-day chart and a daily trend for any range, colored by tag. Count, mean, spread, minimum and maximum, overall and per tag. Every chart is described for VoiceOver.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking. Your readings are stored on your phone and in its backup only; nothing is sent to us. Delete everything from Settings whenever you like, including the readings Glucary saved to Apple Health.

ALSO A Home Screen widget with a Save button, a Siri Shortcut to log a reading, large text support, and the free CSV export, so your data is always yours.

Important: this app does not measure blood sugar and gives no medical advice. You need your own glucose meter. Readings and target ranges are entered by you; the app records and displays them and never assesses them. Always consult a healthcare professional.
