About

Know where every note lives on your guitar — without memorizing a table of 78 names.

GNeck is built on one simple truth about the fretboard: every note forms the same constellation of positions, just slid up or down the neck. Learn that one Master Shape, learn how to slide it, and you've learned all twelve notes.

HOW IT WORKS - Look — a note's whole constellation lights up and connects into the Master Shape. - Hide — it disappears. - Recall — you tap every position from memory.

That's it. No quizzes, no multiple choice, no walls of text. Pulling a shape out of memory is what makes it stick, so that's what you'll do in every round.

A PATH THAT FADES THE TRAINING WHEELS Start by tracing the shape over a faint guide. Then glimpse it for a few seconds. Then see only the first note. Then just the note's name. Finally, beat the clock. GNeck moves each note through these stages automatically, based on how you're doing.

TEN SHORT UNITS Anchors · Octave Shapes · the Master Shape · Slides to A, D, G and B · F and C · Sharps & Flats · Full Neck. Every lesson is three quick, visual steps, then straight to practice.

DAILY NECK One button builds today's 8–12 rounds from the notes that are due, mixes in review, and adds a new note when you're ready. Spaced repetition brings each note back right before you'd forget it. Sessions take about five minutes.

EXPLORE A free, unscored neck. Tap any fret to hear it and see its name. Hold a note to see its octave. Pick any note and watch the Master Shape slide across the neck to it.

SEE YOUR PROGRESS A full-neck heatmap glows from dim to amber to green as you master each note, with a simple seven-day practice view. No streaks to break, no badges, no nagging.

MADE FOR GUITARISTS - A real-looking neck drawn in rosewood, nickel and bronze, frets 0–12 - A gentle synthesized pluck for every note (follows your silent switch) - Standard, Drop D, Drop C and 7-string tunings, with separate progress for each - Left-handed and flipped-string layouts - Sharp or flat note names - VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion support
