About
Hagiazomai is for an adult who wants to restrict his own phone and wants someone he trusts to know if he undoes it.
TWO FILTER LAYERS Apple's adult website filter covers Safari and turns off private browsing. A DNS filter, run by CleanBrowsing, covers every app and every network, Wi-Fi and cellular. You turn the second one on yourself in Settings, and the app walks you through it.
YOUR RULES Block whole App Store categories, let single apps through, and block single apps whatever their category. Add daily limits and a downtime window if you want them. You choose everything in Apple's own picker. The app never learns which apps you chose.
A WAIT BEFORE ANYTHING LOOSENS Blocking takes effect at once. Unblocking waits 24 hours and can be cancelled. A decision made at a weak moment has a day to be reconsidered.
PARTNERS Pair with a friend in person by scanning a code. He is told when a filter turns off, when a rule starts loosening and when it applies, when you tap Close on a blocked app, and when the phone's clock is moved. He is never told which app, site or category. You can be someone's partner too.
HONEST ABOUT ITS LIMITS You can always undo restrictions you put on your own phone. Hagiazomai does not pretend otherwise. It makes undoing them slow and visible, and that is why it works best with a partner.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no email, no ads, no analytics. Alerts to partners are end-to-end encrypted: they travel through Apple's iCloud as ciphertext that only your partner's phone can open. We run no server and hold no keys.
Hagiazomai (hah-gee-AH-zo-my) is Greek for "I am being made holy." Hebrews 10:14: "For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified."
Part of Ordinary Means.
