About
Switch between open Mac apps with a compact menu around your pointer.
Hold the middle mouse button, move toward an app, and release to switch. You can also open the menu with Option + Click or a keyboard shortcut. Pin important apps to familiar positions, exclude apps you do not need, and tune the size and sensitivity of the ring.
Apps stay in the central ring. A small, configurable action crescent stays below the ring. Available actions spread evenly. If a position is free, the + button opens Settings → Actions to add an action. Choose from Mission Control, Finder, System Settings, a folder, a URL, or a named Shortcut. Mission Control lets you choose a desktop; HaloSwitch does not switch directly to a numbered Space.
HaloSwitch lives in the menu bar and keeps your settings and usage history on your Mac. If you grant Screen Recording permission, it can show a small preview of a visible window above the ring. Window previews are optional; app switching works without them.
The global mouse monitor observes clicks but does not suppress the original click in the app underneath. HaloSwitch switches between applications; it does not target a particular window inside another app.
