Hush: Lofi Focus Radio
Not claimedHush is an endless lofi radio for focus, right in your menu bar
By Niels Hoogendoorn · Music and audioWhy we expect it: A clear, privacy-friendly focus radio with generative music and a well-judged menu bar concept.
About
Hush is an endless lofi radio for focus, right in your menu bar. Calm beats, jazzy chords and cozy rain, made live on your Mac while you work, study or chill.
No samples, no streaming. Each track is made as it plays, so it never repeats and never runs out.
THREE STYLES • Lofi: jazzy keys, dusty drums and ambient rain and vinyl crackle. • Café: warm jazz and bossa nova, with cups, the espresso machine and rain on the window. • Electronic: upbeat melodic house and retro synthwave, for when you want to get stuff done.
MENU BAR AND MAIN WINDOW Click the four bars in your menu bar to see what's playing, skip a track or change the volume. Media keys and Now Playing work too. Open the main window for an animated pixel-art scene that moves with the beat: a rainy night, a campfire, a night train, a neon drive and more.
FOLLOWS YOUR DAY Mornings sound a little brighter. Nights get slower and moodier. Hush follows your clock, so the music fits the hour.
THE STUDIO Make it yours on a little mixing desk. Pull the drums down, bring the rain up, slow the tempo or add some warmth. Not feeling a track? Get a new vibe, beat or melody without stopping the music.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no tracking, and Hush doesn't need the internet to play.
FREE, WITH ONE-TIME FULL ACCESS The lofi radio is free, with play controls, media keys, time of day and open at login. Try the Café and Electronic styles free for 20 seconds. Hush Full Access is a single purchase, not a subscription. It adds: • The Café and Electronic styles • The Studio: mix, feel and melody sound • New vibe, New beat and New melody • Pin a time of day: morning, afternoon, evening or night Family Sharing is included.
