InboxHop sends standard email links to Gmail in Safari. It fills in the recipient, CC, BCC, subject and message text supplied by the link, while Gmail keeps your usual signature. Your message remains a draft until you choose to send it.
Open a link from a website, document or Mac app. If you already have Gmail open, InboxHop can bring an available Gmail tab forward. A temporary routing tab may appear briefly.
SET UP IN TWO STEPS Enable the included Safari extension and allow access to mail.google.com. Then choose InboxHop as your Mac’s default email app. A built-in test helps you check the result.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN InboxHop has no account, analytics, advertising or server. The extension reads and changes mail.google.com only to open and fill your draft. Gmail may save drafts under Google’s privacy policy. InboxHop never sends a message for you.
Requires Safari on macOS 13 or later and a Gmail account signed in to Safari. Other browsers are not supported in this version. After enabling the extension, you may need to reload any Gmail tabs that were already open. Attachments cannot be added through email links.
