Insomnio: Stay Awake

Insomnio stops your Mac from going to sleep while you download, render, present or just read. It lives in the menu bar: one click and you're done.

• Quick durations: 15 min, 30 min, 1 h, 2 h, 4 h, 8 h, until a set time or no limit. • Countdown in the menu bar and a reminder 5 minutes before it ends, with a "+30 min" button. • Turn off the display instantly while your Mac keeps working: save energy and spare your screen. • Battery protection: pauses when the battery is low or when you're not plugged in. • Global keyboard shortcut, desktop widget and a Control Center button (macOS 26 or later). • Shortcuts and Siri actions: "Hey Siri, turn on Insomnio".

INSOMNIO PRO (one-time purchase, no subscription) • Based on open apps: awake while you use your video editor, a game or a video call. • While downloading: never sleeps in the middle of a download. • On a schedule: for example, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00.
