About
A hidden word from the Bible, every day. Find it in six guesses, then sit with a verse and a short devotion.
Most days it’s a word from the Bible’s pages, four to six letters long; now and then it’s a person or a place, and the clue hint can tell you which. Each guess shows which letters are in the word and which are in the right place. Win or lose, a verse and a short reflection follow.
A WORD FOR EVERY DAY • A new puzzle each day • Missed a day? Play it later from the calendar • Statistics, streaks and every past game to look back on
VERSES More than 120 well-known verses, each with two to four of its words hidden. Every word comes with a starting guess already coloured, and one guess left to find it: only one word fits. A guess that doesn't fit the colours doesn't count, so a typo won't cost you the word. Stuck? A hint gives another coloured guess, then a letter. Find every word and the verse appears.
HELP WHEN YOU WANT IT • A clue to what kind of word it is: a person, a place, a name of God or another word • A keyboard shaded by the letters still in play • Suggested guesses All three are off until you turn them on.
REVIEW YOUR GUESSES See each guess beside the one the solver would have played, and how much each narrowed things down.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN No ads, no account, no tracking. Everything runs on your iPhone, without a connection, and your games stay on it.
THE NAME "Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law." (Matthew 5:18, KJV). A jot is yod, the smallest Hebrew letter; a tittle is the tiny stroke that tells one letter from another. In this game, every letter counts.
Bible verses in the devotions are from the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), dedicated to the public domain.
Jot & Tittle is an independent word puzzle. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other publisher's word game.
