In short

KidFacts is an education app that drills everyday facts for children aged 7 to 11, such as months, days, telling time, coins, US states, times tables and their own address and phone number. It suits parents who want one calm five-minute session a day, with a Sunday summary on a dashboard. It stands out for its quiet design: no timers, leaderboards or streaks, and family data stays on the device and in iCloud.

About

KidFacts teaches the everyday facts children aged 7 to 11 are somehow expected to just know: the months in order, the days of the week, telling time on a real clock, counting coins, the states on the map, times tables, the seasons, left and right, reading a calendar, and their own address, phone number and birthday.

One five-minute session a day. Calm by design.

HOW IT WORKS You tell KidFacts what your child finds tricky. Each day they get a short session that focuses on exactly those things, with a little support at first and then none. A fact only counts as known when your child produces it on their own, more than once, over days. Then it shows up as a star in their sky.

THE PARENT DASHBOARD Plain words, honest numbers. "Knows 9 of 12 months on their own. Shaky: September, October, November." Tap any area to see every fact, when it was last practised, and when it comes up next. A short summary arrives on Sunday evening.

MADE TO BE QUIET No timers. No leaderboards. No coins to spend, no streaks to break. One task on the screen at a time, every prompt read aloud, a clear end to every session. Many families with ADHD or dyslexia in the house will recognise why.

YOUR CHILD'S OWN FACTS Enter your address, phone numbers and family birthdays and KidFacts turns them into practice: typing the number on a phone keypad, picking the right street, remembering Mom's birthday. These stay on your devices and in your own iCloud. KidFacts has no servers.
