Lampwick Studio

Lampwick Studio is a complete Inform 7 workshop for Mac and iPad. Write your story in natural English, compile it on the device, and play it straight away, with no computer or internet connection needed.

WRITE • A source editor built for Inform 7, with highlighting for headings, rules, quoted text, substitutions, comments, tables and Inform 6 inclusions • Find and replace, undo and redo, and a keyboard-friendly layout on iPad • Projects are ordinary documents in iCloud Drive, so the same story is on your Mac and your iPad

BUILD • The real Inform 7 compiler (10.2) and Inform 6, running entirely on your device • Problems are listed clearly, and tapping one takes you to the line in your source • Add Inform 7 extensions from your own files and use them in any project

PLAY • Run your story in the built-in Glulx interpreter as soon as it builds • Inform's testing commands are available while you write, so you can try every path through your game

RELEASE • Package your finished story as a Blorb (.gblorb) with its bibliographic data and cover art • Save it, share it, or on the Mac open it in Lampwick, the companion player
