Lembi: my junk journal
Not claimedA photo, a ticket, a few words
By Roberto Drago · LifestyleWhy we expect it: Lembi offers a charming, privacy-first way to turn photos and keepsakes into a personal junk journal.
About
A photo, a ticket, a few words. Lembi is a place to collect small fragments and turn them into a personal journal, on iPhone and iPad.
COLLECT Photograph a material, scan a keepsake or import an image from Photos and Files. Keep your materials in the drawer, ready for the next page.
COMPOSE Move, crop and tear paper. Write a note — in a handwritten or typewriter typeface — or draw. Stick on stickers, tapes and date labels, and give your photos a frame. Add pockets and envelopes in the colour you like, cards with a back, and side folds: a page can hold something to discover as well as something to look at.
FIND AGAIN Search words, notes and places you wrote down. Lembi reads the text in your images on the device to help you find a memory. In the library, whatever you dated on this day in earlier years comes back to you — with no notifications, and you can turn it off.
KEEP AND SHARE Export a page as PNG or JPEG, a notebook as PDF, or a .lembi archive you can keep and import again. Editable backups are kept apart from images and PDFs.
ONE COMPLETE JOURNAL IS INCLUDED Try the sample notebook and create your first personal notebook for free. A one-time purchase lets you create and edit more notebooks. It is not a subscription: price and currency are shown before you buy. Work you have already made stays readable and exportable.
A PERSONAL SPACE No ads, no Lembi account to create and no tracking SDKs. Photos, scans and recognised text are processed on the device. You can lock the app with your device passcode or biometrics.
