Lighten: Resize & Compress
Not claimedMake photos and videos easier to share, right on your iPhone
By Hangzhou Jianlan Zhiwei Technology Co., Ltd · Photo and videoWhy we expect it: A clear, privacy-first on-device resizer with honest previews, preserved originals, and a no-subscription model makes a compelling, well-described debut.
About
Make photos and videos easier to share, right on your iPhone. Lighten processes your selected files on your device and keeps the originals unchanged.
Choose clearer, balanced or smaller output. See the original size and an estimate before processing, then check the actual result. Add a file-size limit only when you need one. Original format and pixel dimensions are the default.
Need exact dimensions? Adjust and confirm the framing before cropping. A maximum long-edge setting scales proportionally. Compare the original and result at the same position, then save to Photos or Files, or share.
• Photos and videos in one app • Supported Live Photo, HDR, location and capture information preserved • Live Photos keep their original format and dimensions • Video keeps its full duration and sound • Saved rules and recoverable task history • English and Simplified Chinese
Free use includes 3 photo exports and 1 video export per day, plus one saved rule. Lighten Pro is a one-time purchase for batch processing, more saved rules and no daily export count limit. No subscription, advertising or account required.
Processing stays on your device. Your system may download originals from iCloud or a file provider, and Apple handles purchases. Supported formats and preservation depend on the source and your device; incompatible requirements are explained before a result is marked ready.
