About
Control your WiFi air conditioners straight from your phone, over your own network.
Local Aircon talks to your units directly on the local network. There is no cloud service, no account to create and no extra login — commands go from your phone to the air conditioner and nowhere else.
WHAT YOU CAN DO • Turn any unit on or off • Set the mode: cool, heat, dry, fan or auto • Set the fan speed • Aim or swing the up/down and left/right vanes • Set the temperature on every unit at once from the bar at the top • Name each unit so the list reads the way your home does
IT FINDS YOUR UNITS ON ITS OWN The app sweeps your WiFi network for compatible air conditioners and remembers where they answered, so later launches are usually instant. Your phone and your air conditioners need to be on the same network, and iOS will ask for local network access the first time you scan.
GOOD TO KNOW • Units must already be connected to your WiFi using the manufacturer's own setup app • The units answer slowly — 10 to 20 seconds per command is normal • After a command a unit locks out other apps for about a minute, and the manufacturer's app locks out this one the same way • The names you give your units are stored on your phone only
COMPATIBILITY Works with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioners fitted with the WF-RAC WiFi adapter. Local Aircon is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
