About

What should your product cost? MakeCost helps you account for materials, labour, machines and sales costs before setting your price.

Add your costs and choose a target margin. See your cost per unit, suggested selling price and profit.

• Combine multiple materials and cost items in one product. • Allocate purchases by material usage or products per purchase. • Include labour, machine time, packaging, fees and shipping. • Spread setup time and batch costs across the units you make. • Keep reusable libraries of materials, machines, labour profiles and sales channels. • Set VAT and defaults in your business profile. • Try alternative prices and costs in Simulate without changing the original calculation. • Export and restore manual backups.

For laser cutting, sheet metal work, 3D printing, crafts and small-scale manufacturing.

Available in English and Swedish. Calculations are stored locally on your device. All features are included in the one-time purchase. No account or subscription required. Amounts are calculated in Swedish kronor (SEK); VAT rates are configurable.

Suggested prices use the costs and target margin you enter. They support your pricing decisions and do not assess market demand or willingness to pay.
