About
Matsuri Taiko is a taiko rhythm practice app for iPhone and iPad. Tap the drumhead for Don and the rim for Ka. Practice at your own pace with jiuchi rhythms, your own audio files or ondo videos.
• Choose Taiko, Odaiko or Shime-daiko sounds for the interactive drum • Play with multiple fingers and adjust drum volume • Practice with Straight, Swing, Horse and Matsuri jiuchi rhythms, or a metronome click • Set the tempo from 40 to 240 BPM. Hold the tempo buttons to adjust faster; the new tempo applies when you release • Import MP3, M4A, audio MP4 and WAV files from Files • Play, pause, seek and adjust accompaniment volume • Practice with ondo videos in the visible YouTube player, including videos from pasted YouTube links • Switching practice modes stops the previous playback • Japanese and English, with light or dark appearance following your system settings
Drumming, jiuchi and previously imported audio work offline. YouTube requires an internet connection. Some videos may not permit embedded playback.
The app has no advertising of its own. YouTube may display ads within its player.
Imported audio is processed and stored on your device; the app does not upload it. Please use audio files you have the right to use.
Thank you to everyone I have met through practicing taiko.
