About
Slacking off again today? Change your surroundings.
Promised yourself you'd properly study today, and didn't manage it again? Stop relying on willpower and let technology guard your focus. Turn on monk mode with MonkMate, and those apps simply won't open until it's over.
■ Block apps, categories and websites in one go Pick apps and categories from the Screen Time list, then add sites. Deleting apps is blocked too while monk mode is on.
■ Once it starts, it can't be stopped Choose anything from 15 minutes to 2 hours, or set your own. While it's running, you can only add time or add things to block.
■ Time left, right on the Lock Screen Time left shows in a Live Activity and the Dynamic Island. Each time you back out of a blocked app, it counts towards this session.
■ Hand over the key when holding on is hardest Lock your Screen Time passcode in the key vault. To get it back, you ask and wait the time you chose (1 hour to 7 days), and it only opens once the current monk mode has ended. No need to remember the passcode.
■ See your focus in numbers Today's focus time, your streak and the last 14 days at a glance. Sign in with the same account and focus time from iPhone and Mac adds up.
■ MonkMate never sees which apps you use MonkMate only knows how many apps and categories you've picked. Even when you try to open a blocked app, Apple doesn't share its name, so MonkMate only counts.
■ On Mac, too The Mac app blocks apps and websites together, with an allowlist that keeps only the sites you need, plus scheduled starts. Find out more at monkmate.pro.
■ Pricing Every feature in the iPhone app is free. If you'd like to support MonkMate, you can buy MonkMate Pro in the app (monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, or a one-off Lifetime purchase), and it applies to your account on both Mac and iPhone. Subscriptions renew automatically and are charged to your Apple ID unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel at any time in your App Store account settings.
