You'll pull up a stool at a lock-and-key smithy where two benches wait for busy hands. Plate Mender and the stamping bench are one tap away, and the kiln never really cools.
New at the workbench? Tap a shard from the tray, then tap the empty socket that matches its shape, imprint, and ink. Sockets look plain until you compare marks closely, and a wrong seat costs one mis-seat life.
What does Plate Mender ask of you? Rebuild a cracked cast-iron door plate before the kiln timer runs out, matching every shard to its socket. Later halls add turned and hidden imprints, tighter kilns, and extra decoy shards.
What happens at the stamping bench? Read the order card, bow, shank, teeth, collar, groove, ink, dial the stamping wheels to match it, press Stamp the blank, then drop it in the quench tub before the next order lands. Sixty-eight levels wait on that ladder, and a shift clock keeps later benches brisk.
A single one-time Forge Stamp purchase opens two Expert ladders once the starting boards are cleared, no subscription, nothing renews.
Two benches, one smithy: mend cracked plates on one side, stamp key blanks on the other.
