The child already has the motivation. It is just pointed at games. We turned it toward English: the lesson first, then everything else.
HOW WE GET THE CHILD TO LEARN ON THEIR OWN The lesson of the day is short. The test opens only after the lesson. Guessing does not work: only the lesson gives minutes. A better result gives more minutes. Minutes end overnight, so tomorrow the child comes back on their own. Nobody has to remind them. The phone does it.
WHAT THE CHILD LEARNS Words that stick: new ones come back again and again until they are known. Grammar in small doses, reading and writing. 10-15 minutes a day.
FOR PARENTS Set the rule once in your cabinet at mova.family and watch the progress. With the child's Apple ID in your Family Sharing, the child cannot switch Mova off without you. Free, no ads, no tracking. Screen Time data never leaves the phone.
REQUIREMENTS iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later, installed on the child's device. Free parent account at mova.family.
