Museleaf: Writing Journal

Museleaf is a local-first writing tool designed for everyday creative work. Manage multiple works on your shelf, organize chapters in each project, and write paged drafts with automatic saving that helps keep your words close at hand.

It is made for fiction, essays, drafts, ideas, and long-form writing projects. The interface stays quiet and focused so your attention can remain on the page.

Key features:

- Shelf management: organize multiple writing projects - Chapter writing: create and switch between chapters - Paged drafts: split long text into manageable pages - Automatic saving: save while writing, switching chapters, and returning to the shelf - Focus mode: hide the chapter list for a cleaner writing space - Word counts: track chapter and project word counts - Local-first storage: keep content primarily on your device

Museleaf is still growing. Upcoming work includes outlines, character notes, find and replace, export and backup, version history, and a fuller editor experience.
