About
NoAd Radar puts weather first, with a distinctive dot-style radar map and no advertising or promotional startup screens. Open it and get straight to the radar.
Explore recent radar, look ahead with estimated future precipitation, and see National Weather Service watches, warnings, and advisories. Add a Home Screen widget for a quick look at weather near your saved location.
• Three hours of recent radar playback • Estimated future precipitation • National Weather Service alert details • Optional location-based weather notifications • Small, medium, and large Home Screen widgets • Dark, light, and satellite maps • Designed for iPhone and iPad
Weather coverage is currently limited to the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states and Washington, DC). Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and other countries are not covered. An internet connection is required. Future precipitation is an estimate, not an official forecast.
Widgets refresh on a schedule managed by iOS; updates are not continuous or guaranteed. Notifications use your last location registered by the app, so open NoAd Radar after traveling to update it.
NoAd Radar is an independent app, not affiliated with or endorsed by NOAA or the National Weather Service. Weather data and notifications can be delayed or unavailable. Do not rely on this app as your only source of severe-weather warnings.
