norot opens Instagram in a focused browser on your iPhone. You start with the people you follow, and your reels have a daily limit.
Your feed, stories and messages work as usual. When you reach your daily number, norot lets you know kindly, and your feed and DMs stay open. The next day starts fresh.
WHAT YOU GET • Opens on your following feed, so friends come first. • Hides Explore's grid of suggested posts. The search page still works. • Turns reels off or keeps them to a daily limit: 20 a day free, your own number with Premium. Each reel counts once, even if you watch it again. • Reels that friends send you in messages still play, and they don't count. • Stories, DMs and profiles work as they do on instagram.com. • Shows today's reels and time in Instagram at a glance.
ONE TAP IN Add the Home Screen widget, the Lock Screen widget, the Control Center button or the Action button. A Home Screen shortcut and Siri open Instagram in norot too.
LOCK THE INSTAGRAM APP (OPTIONAL) Use Apple Screen Time to lock the Instagram app. When you open it, a friendly screen takes you to norot. On iOS 26.5 and later one tap opens norot. Earlier versions point you to your Home Screen. You pick Instagram yourself, and you can change it anytime in iPhone Settings.
CHANGES THAT STAY STEADY A stricter limit applies right away. A looser one takes effect 24 hours later, and you can cancel a waiting change anytime.
FREE AND PREMIUM Free includes your following feed, Explore's grid hidden, reels off or 20 a day, the Screen Time lock, widgets, today's stats and your current streak.
Premium adds: • Your own daily number, from 1 to 100 • Only reels from people you follow • A daily time limit for Instagram • Quiet hours for reels • Grayscale mode • History for 7, 30 and 90 days and your best streak • Block adult websites in Safari and other browsers
PRIVACY You log in on instagram.com itself. norot never reads your Instagram password, messages or posts. You need a free norot account, with email or Sign in with Apple. It keeps your settings, daily totals and Premium on any iPhone. It never learns which reels or accounts you watch. If you turn on the adult website filter, Apple's own Screen Time filter does the work and norot never sees which websites you visit.

SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS norot Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, weekly, monthly or yearly. The yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. The App Store shows the price for your country before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you start a free trial, the first payment is taken when the trial ends, unless you cancel before. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
