About
Octrlesnmau is a typesetting calculator for movable type based on genuine letterpress practice. Set the point size, x-height ratio and set width, adjust leading, word spacing, column width, margins, and paragraph spacing and slug spacing. The app calculates line height, characters per line, justification stretch, type area and the pages required using real pt/em/pica conversions – all drawn in real time. The calculations work entirely offline, with no export, sharing or tracking. The Pro version is unlocked with a one-time payment, with no ads or subscription.
