In short

OKIPO: Alarm Clock & Wake Up is an alarm app that makes you complete a task, such as finding an item with your camera, walking a set number of steps, or doing push-ups, before it stops. It is aimed at people who tend to switch off their alarm and fall back asleep. A standout detail is that the alarm keeps ringing after the iOS Stop button is pressed until the mission is finished.

About

Okipo, a sleepy little koala, is here to get you up in the morning.

OKIPO is an alarm for people who turn off their alarm and fall right back asleep. When it rings, you finish a mission to stop it. Every mission gets you out of bed, so it's much harder to crawl back under the covers.

■ Missions that get you out of bed • Item Hunt: a new item every morning (fridge, shoes, kitchen sink...). Point your camera at it to stop the alarm • Walk: take a set number of steps • Push-ups: your camera counts each rep • Scan: scan a barcode you registered, like your toothpaste in the bathroom • Memory and Shake are also available

■ Stopped it? It rings again Even if you stop it with the iOS Stop button, Okipo keeps ringing until you finish your mission.

■ Works in the dark The flashlight turns on automatically for Item Hunt and Scan, and the screen lights up for push-ups.

■ Wake-up sounds Rooster, classic bell, bugle and more. Volume goes back to normal once you're up.

■ Morning report See the mornings you got up each week, and celebrate them with Okipo.

■ Private by design • Alarms and history stay on your device • Camera video is never saved or sent • Need to stop no matter what? Use Emergency stop (press and hold) anytime

[Subscription] Scheduling alarms requires an OKIPO Pro subscription (yearly or weekly). • Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. • Manage or cancel anytime in Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Note: Okipo can't guarantee you'll wake up. Alarms may not ring depending on your device settings or condition.
