About
The free mileage log for freelancers, company car drivers and everyone who wants to get rid of the 1% rule in Germany. No subscription, no plug, no account. Open source.
THREE WAYS TO RECORD • GPS in your phone: tap "Start trip" and the phone measures the distance, even when you leave the app. Start and destination addresses are filled in automatically. • OBD adapter (optional): a low-cost Bluetooth LE adapter (ELM327) reads the real odometer from the car and starts and stops trips on its own. • By hand: enter odometer, destination and purpose yourself, like a paper logbook.
BUILT TO THE GERMAN TAX OFFICE REQUIREMENTS • Date, time and odometer at the start and end of every trip • Business trips with destination, purpose, business contact and route for detours • Private trips and commutes with kilometres and a note • Reminders for the 7-day rule, late entries are marked • Trips lock after 7 days and can never be deleted, only voided • Every change is recorded in a tamper-evident SHA-256 hash chain and printed in the PDF next to the trip, with date and original value • Odometer gaps are shown right away
EXPORT • PDF mileage log for the tax office and your accountant • CSV for Excel, DATEV and machine evaluation • Full backup including the change history, verified before it can be restored
HANDY • Places like home, office and clients fill in destination, purpose and contact automatically • Multiple vehicles and drivers • Cost log and 1% rule vs logbook method comparison • Light and dark mode, German and English
PRIVACY No account, no server, no ads, no tracking. All data stays on your phone. Location is only used while a trip is recording.
Note: the German tax office does not certify any logbook software. Whether a logbook is accepted depends on your entries. This app is not tax advice.
